What is PDT Acne Treatment?

Acne is a chronic inflammatory skin disease that often occurs on the face, chest and band back. The types of ance can be divided into mile, moderate and severe according to the extremity and PDT is a non-invasive therapy that uses light treatments along with an application of a photosensitizing agent, typically 5-aminolevulinic (ALA) to effectively treat acne in our face, chest or back. When photosensitizing agent (ALA) is applied to the skin, and light treatment is administered and this reduces the amount of oil within the pores, thereby reducing comedones. ALA also helps to reduce bacteria that cause acne breakouts and normalize the shedding of dead skin cells within the follicle.
